Any dispute related in any way to your visit to this website shall be arbitrated by state or federal court Greek Government and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

 

Comments, Reviews, and Emails

Visitors may post content as long as it is not obscene, illegal, defamatory, threatening, infringing of intellectual property rights, invasive of privacy or injurious in any other way to third parties. Content has to be free of software viruses, political campaign, and commercial solicitation.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

Easy Job Bridge (“the Company”) is an internship placement service provider based in Malta, facilitating internship opportunities for students from around the world. These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the relationship between Easy Job Bridge and the interns (“Participants”), as well as the host companies (“Host Organizations”). By using our services, all parties agree to abide by these T&Cs.

Services Provided 

Easy Job Bridge offers the following services: 

a. Internship placement in a suitable Host Organization based on the Participant’s qualifications and preferences. 

b. Assistance with accommodation arrangements, if requested. 

c. General support and guidance during the internship period. 

d. Assistance with necessary documentation for visa applications where required. 

e. Pre-departure and on-arrival orientation meetings.

Eligibility Criteria 

Participants must meet the following criteria: 

a. Be at least 17 years old at the time of application. 

b. Possess sufficient proficiency in the English language. 

c. Have all necessary travel and health insurance before arriving in Malta.

Application Process 

a. Participants must provide all required supporting documents. 

b. Upon acceptance, a deposit (if applicable) must be paid to confirm participation. 

c. Easy Job Bridge reserves the right to refuse any application without providing specific reasons.

Fees and Payment 

a. Fees for services will be communicated to Participants before registration. 

b. Payments must be made in full before the commencement of the internship, at least two weeks before the arrival date in Malta. 

c. Fees are non-refundable except in cases of proven visa refusal (subject to deductions as stated hereunder). 

d. Additional costs, including accommodation, transport, and living expenses, are the responsibility of the Participant.

Responsibilities of the Participant 

a. Adhere to the rules and regulations of the Host Organization. 

b. Maintain professionalism and punctuality during the internship. 

c. Comply with all legal and immigration requirements in Malta. 

d. Obtain appropriate travel and medical insurance for the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities of the Host Organization 

a. Provide a safe and conducive working environment. 

b. Assign meaningful tasks relevant to the Participant’s field of study. 

c. Offer supervision and guidance to ensure the Participant’s development. 

d. Comply with all local labour laws concerning internship arrangements.

Termination and Cancellation 

a. EASY Job Bridge reserves the right to terminate the agreement if a Participant or Host Organization violates these T&Cs. 

b. If a Participant wishes to withdraw from the program after acceptance, no refund shall be issued unless under exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Easy Job Bridge

c. If a Host Organization terminates an internship prematurely without just cause, Easy Job Bridge will attempt to find an alternative placement but does not guarantee it.

Visa Refusal 

If an entry Visa to Malta is required but is not granted, you must advise Easy Job Bridge immediately together with a copy of the visa refusal document within 3 days of refusal notice. A visa refusal is considered a cancellation of booking and therefore cancellation policy and terms apply as stated above.

Should the student VISA not be issued to no fault of the student, then the fees are refunded – less a 35% Cancellation fee capped at Euro1,500.

Should you request new visa documents to reapply for a visa, appeal or extend their stay, a €50 fee will be charged.

It is important to note that visa extensions are only granted subject to good performance, satisfactory attendance 85% and have fulfilled all the requirements of the Central Visa Unit in Malta. If an applicant regularly fails to show up for lessons or have failed to present all documents as requested s/he would lose his student visa eligibility, which will result in VISA refusal. For such applicants normal cancellation policy will be applied.

Liability and Disclaimer 

a. Easy Job Bridge (and its employees, agents, directors and representatives) shall not be liable in any way to the student in the event that services to be provided to the student by the Company are not provided for any reason beyond the control of Easy Job Bridge.

Easy Job Bridge (and its employees, agents, directors and representatives) shall not be liable for any loss, damage, illness or injury that may be caused or incurred howsoever to any student, person or property, to the extent allowed by law.

If, despite this provision, Easy Job Bridge and/or its employees, agents, directors and representatives is found liable for any loss or damage suffered or caused by any student, that liability shall in no event exceed the total amount of the total sum already paid by the student for the course fees or package.

b. Participants are responsible for securing adequate insurance coverage. 

c. Easy Job Bridge does not guarantee employment or permanent placement after the internship.

Amendments 

Easy Job Bridge reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any updates will be communicated accordingly, and continued use of services will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.

 Accommodation

All students must follow the relevant House Rules as per accommodation option.

All students staying in the Apartments must pay a deposit of €100 in full on welcome meeting, prior to the start of the internship. The deposit may be refunded in full or in part, on check-out providing that there are no pending charges incurred by the student and / or that the student is not responsible for any damage of any nature, including but not limited to furnishings, equipment and fittings while staying at Easy Job Bridge’s accommodation. Students must pay before check-out any and all pending charges exceeding their deposit.

Bullying, Discrimination and Harassment

Easy Job Bridge takes a very harsh and strong stance against any form of bullying and discrimination as a consequence of race, creed, skin colour, sexual orientation, political beliefs and mental or physical disadvantage. Any instances of bullying or discrimination should immediately be brought to the attention of the Operations Manager or any other prominent member of staff. Bullying, discrimination, harassment misconduct and intimidation of any kind may constitute enough grounds for immediate expulsion from the programme without refund. Easy Job Bridge does not exclude reporting any serious offences to law enforcement and to assist law enforcement in any way possible.

Photography and Filming:

Easy Job Bridge may use photographs or film footage to illustrate its promotional material. If students do not wish to participate, Easy Job Bridge will respect their wishes but it’s the student’s responsibility to absent themselves from the photograph/video.

Confidentiality and Data Protection 

a. Personal data collected from Participants and Host Organizations will be used solely for placement and program administration purposes. 

b. All data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction 

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malta. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these T&Cs shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Maltese courts.
